Application Control Actions - RESET

Buenas, solamente querria saber si alguien me puede aclarar exactamente que hace la action Reset...

Allow, Monitor y Block, no tengo ninguna duda, pero cual es la utilidad/función del modo reset?

Application Control Actions:
-Allow
This action allows the targeted traffic to continue on through the FortiGate unit.
-Monitor
This action allows the targeted traffic to continue on through the FortiGate unit but logs the traffic for analysis.
-Block
This action prevents all traffic from reaching the application and logs all occurrences.
-Reset
This action resets the session or connection between the FortiGate and the initiating node.

Hola,

En Application control no tienes la opción de reset, solamente tienes las siguientes opciones:

Allow
Monitor
Block
Quarantine

En Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) si tienes la opción de reset y lo que realiza es generar un paquete TCP RST cuando la firma de IPS se activa.
